Piano Smashers, a powerful solo play about an unwanted inheritance.
In Piano Smashers a mother bequeaths her piano to her children in a will but they really do not want it and all that it represents to them.

Piano Smashers is a response to the appalling legacy of our environment, global economics and political culture that our children’s generation will inherit.

Inspired by the plays of Tim Crouch and the theories of Peter Brook and Bertolt Brecht, Piano Smashers
debuted at Brighton Fringe in 2024 and then Ventnor and PBH Free fringes in the same year.
Nominated for Best Performance at The Actors in Brighton, Piano Smashers went on to play at The Cockpit Theatre in London in August 2024 and again in January 2025. Followed by successful runs at Edinburgh Fringe in 2025 and Prague Fringe in 2026. Plus performances at Pianodrome in Edinburgh in December 2025.
